Closure of Matched Trade

PreviousOngoing MatchesNextMatch History

A closing of a matched trade can happen in the following ways:

  • Trader actively closes a trade

  • Trade has reached maximum profit

  • Trade has reached maximum loss

  • Trade has been closed after 7 days following matcher requesting closure

Within the Ongoing Matches screen, you will see the following message:

Notification of a closed trade

At this point you are recommended to close your hedged trade.

Requesting to close a trade

Whilst you can’t close a trader's trade that you have lent tokens towards, you can send a message to the trader to close the trade within 7 days. This message will be sent to the user's Keplr address. If the trade has not been closed after 7 days, it will be closed automatically.

  1. Scroll to the right of the ongoing matched trade

  2. Select ‘Request to close’ button

The trader will see the following message stating that a request has been made and the trade will be automatically closed after 7 days from the initial request.
